Book box is designed by Norm Architects and produced jointly with August Sandgren, a Danish leather box maker. Making use of the artisanal skills handed down through more than a century of traditional box-making and bookbinding, August Sandgren continues to produce handmade boxes from high-quality materials.

 Available in two colors, Pure Oak and Smoked Oak.Wwo sizes, Large and Small.

The cover is made of Sørensen leather.The body of the box is made of MDF. Magnets are embedded in the lid and wood frame.

The sides of the box are joined using a kanzashi process. Cuts are made at the corners and a thin piece of wood is inserted, like a Japanese ornamental hairpin (kanzashi).
