BUNSHO-GAMA

During PFW week, 2 Japanese handicrafts will be in our exhibitions : "IFUJI" and "Bunshogama".

IFUJI, whose atelier is located in Matsumoto, Nagano, is a craft brand that produces handmade wooden furniture and household items for people who appreciate the sensory quality of their living space. His signature work, SHAKER BOX, is a prototype of the oval boxes made by the American Shakers 2 to 3 hundred years ago. While following the manufacturing methods of the time, it has been polished with greater precision, making it a gem that will be used for years to come.

BUNSHO-GAMA is a Japanese pottery whose kiln is located near the summit of Koshidake, overlooking the port of Imari.

The kiln, which specializes in kappo-style tableware, is appreciated by chefs across the country. Mr. Kojiro BABA, third generation of the Bunshogama believes that the glaze drips, black spots formed during firing and irregularities in color constitute the individuality of these unique vessels.

Come and discover the beauty of Japan.

We look forward to welcoming you to the exhibition.
